Arch Detail
Using both traditional and modern methods Brickline can provide the complete arch design service. All arches are available in both loose and prefabricated systems.
These include the quick and easy "lite-arch" block back arch which is a cost effective system used in conjunction with traditional steel lintels. Alternatively, arches can be supplied with concrete or steel backing units which incorporate structural lintels thereby eliminating the need for secondary support.
Special Shape Bricks
Special shape bricks add style and distinction to any
building. Whether it is a British Standard special or
bespoke design Brickline can produce virtually any
size or shape.
Faststack Chimney System
Modern venting tiles and vents have, in many situations, made the traditional chimney a redundant feature. However, in recent years we have seen a change in planning criteria and it is becoming increasingly common for planners to insist that chimneys are built, whether there is a physical requirement for them or not!
To achieve this economically can be difficult and sometimes impossible. However, we think we may have the solution.
The Faststack Chimney System is a prefabricated chimney system which comprises GRP units which are clad in traditional facing products i.e. brick or stone. They are readily available and can be installed in approximately 20 minutes.
The chimneys are constructed from class 3 Orthophtalic Polyester (GRP) and include a one-piece capping unit which incorporates a traditional terracotta pot.
This replaces the need for and sand/cement flaunching on site.
Each chimney is manufactured to suit the truss designs on your particular projects. All truss centres and roof pitches can be accommodated.

For new build projects Brickline can offer advice on which brick to use and are happy to liase with architects and planners.
